Pride and Prejudice!!!!

I'm exhausted, and today was mostly filled with travel. So this may be a short post.

BUT!!! I got to see where they filmed part of Pride and Prejudice (the new one).
I. Almost. Cried.

You know that scene where it's raining and Elizabeth is at that gazebo? Darcy walks up to her and tells her that he loves her for the first time??? And it's so romantic??? WELL I WAS THERE!!!

Just the beginning of my wonderful garden walk!

 It was filmed at this estate called Stourhead Estate. It's a lovely mansion with gardens as far as the eye can see. There is a small lake and everything! I decided to walk around the gardens and I'm so glad I did! I had NO idea this was where they filmed the movie but as I was walking around everything started to look extremely familiar, and then it hit me! It was amazing! I just walked around the gardens forever, loving every second of it. Even if you aren't a crazy P&P fan, I would recommend these gardens because they are so divine! I still can't believe that I was there. It was literally like I was in the movie. It was raining and everything. All I needed was Darcy to walk around the corner (and me not looking like a rag-a-muffin) to make it perfect!

 

Does this look familiar to anyone?? It's the very spot in the movie!!!

Just waiting for Darcy to walk over to me out of the rain :)

Papa Wade made me leave though.... because we had to get home before the storm hit even harder. We made it safe and sound back at Palace Court though and all climbed in bed! I definitely consider my west trip a success :)
